Carbon is our 4 year old Border Collie. Because there are no babies in our immediate family, we use her to fill the void. We do this by holding her like a baby. Recently we got her a baby bottle because we thought it was funny, but we never could have predicted how strongly she took to it.
She is content to sit quietly and hold that bottle between her paws as the water drips into her mouth. Undoubtedly she thinks she is a person. She has a dog bed, but her choice place to sleep is under the covers, with her head on the pillow(see picture). Carbon also thinks she owns us. Mom and Dad think they are the heads of the household, but they are quite wrong. In fact, nothing is safe from Carbon, especially if a cherished memory is included with the item in question (see the pink pig without eyes courtesy of Carbon). The trampoline is also hers. You can jump on it if you want, but expect to be pounced on or knocked down by Carbon. She,being a jealous creature, demands attention. Life is never boring with Carbon.
